What’s your favorite color?

For some brides, choosing their wedding colors is as easy as selecting their favorite colors.  This could be a dream for some who may have always imagined a day filled with pink or purple.  Consider fun and unlikely combinations like fuschia and tangerine.  If this is the route you decide to take, however, make sure your colors will also work with your venue.

What time of year is your wedding?

Brides also select their wedding colors based on the time of year.  Fall might inspire oranges, burgundy and chocolate brown.  Winter may be about white or ice blue.  Spring colors may be pink and lavender and Summer colors may be green and ivory.  Of course, all of these colors can be used at any time throughout the year.

What is your wedding theme?

Going with a Hollywood theme would mean including white, black and red.  Deciding on a theme will help make selecting the best colors for your day easier.
