Summer is here and in full swing!

TFT can often be found in LBI throughout the year planning many weddings and events, but every year my family and I make a trip to the island to enjoy some quality beach time. Seasun Badges creates custom beach badge charms that can be worn as a necklace or bracelet and is the perfect keepsake.

It’s important to keep hydrated, especially in the heat, and anyone who knows me knows that I love my iced tea. This Cold Beverage To Go cup from CopCo is great for around the house with little ones, at the office and on the go!

Of course one of my essentials would have to include something from my favorite designer, Salvatore Ferragamo. These comfy suede flat sandals can dress up any outfit- day or night.

On the beach or on the go, shade the sun and protect the summer highlights in this Mossimo straw fedora.

Most take a New York Times Best Seller to the beach … I carry my Smash Book. I am on my second book, full of good ideas, swatches, notes and other creative inspiration. It is the physical version of Pinterest. Clippings can easily be added with the Smash Book pen which doubles as a glue stick, or using one of the many accessories.

I would not be able to get through the summer without my sugar scrub. It acts as both a natural exfoliant and a moisturizer. My favorite scrub is homemade by a family member and contains vanilla and ginger. I absolutely love it! This Vanilla Verbena Sugar Scrub by Bath & Body Works is a close second.

Trish McEvoy Advanced Protective Shield Moisturizer with 40 SPF- Great for everyday when running around for events so I am never without a sunscreen. I love Trish products because they are so focused on healthy skin, and always feel great on!

Ray Bans are my go to brand of shade! Their classic aviator style is timeless and looks great with just about any outfit. Great for a beach day or just running errands.
Tory Burch flip flops are my favorite flip flops of all time! The yellow just screams SUMMER to me and they are super comfortable and go with just about everything.________________________________________________________

For a fragrance that will take you from day to night that is fresh and sexy, my go to scent is from Burberry Britt Summer For Women.

In the summer heat, nothing says summer casual than a fun T-shirt. I love styles for my entire family from the Life is Good brand. Proceeds from the purchases goes to the Playmakers which helps kids overcome poverty, violence and illness through play. The shirts have great sayings that will keep you, your hubby, kids and even the family dog inspired.

Conditioning your tresses is a summer must! To keep my naturally curly hair hydrated all summer long, I use Philip b Conditioner to help my hair stay healthy. Not only does it add nourishment but it smells amazing too.

I am loving the new summer 2012 Essie colors – in particular, Mojito Madness! How could I possibly go to the beach without having bright vibrant Essie nails?

My favorite spots this summer are definitely Long Branch, NJ and New Hope, PA. Both places have a totally different atmosphere. Long Branch encompasses everything peaceful and relaxing about the Jersey shore while New Hope is all about antiques, great outdoor restaurants and lots of shops with little chachkies!

Don’t forget to relax! With all the craziness of running around from events, BBQ to BBQ and in and out of the pool – I’m going to make sure I remember to breathe and relax this summer with some yoga.

When most people hear scarf, they usually think winter, but a lightweight scarf is one of the most all-around summer accessories a girl could own. It can be worn around the neck, as an accent belt, or as a headband. Wider ones could double as a sarong or cover-up.

Who doesn’t love a barbeque in the summer?
