The Finishing Touch — Weddings, Events, Design, Paperie

That’s right, this year WeddingWire has teamed up with Filene’s Basement to participate in their annual, world famous  Running of the Brides®. The event will take place at the Filene’s Basement Union Square location on Friday, June 3^rd.

Hundreds of brides from the tri-state area and their teams of bridesmaids will start camping out in the wee hours of the morning to be the first to rush the doors when they open at 8:00AM. Three lucky brides will get the chance to win a wedding gown of their choice, while everyone else will have the opportunity to peruse more than 1700 designer and brand name wedding dresses at very discounted prices.

Filene’s will be open until 10pm and will be accepting checks, cash and credit cards.

So start stretching ladies, and get your running kicks ready, because a bride on a mission is hard to beat!
