Nina and Evan- Prescription of Love
Thursday the 28th of October
When we first met Nina and Evan, we could tell right away how excited they were to be married. We started planning all the fabulous details for a wedding at The Castle at Skylands Manor at the end of the summer. Due to unexpected family circumstances however, the couple made the decision to move their wedding date up and to make it a smaller, more intimate affair. Both Nina and Evan are physicians so they are always working hard and helping others – so it was our pleasure to help them in any way for their wedding day.
Once the new wedding date was established, we went right to work! And with just two weeks to plan – it really was here before we knew it! The couple decided to have an afternoon photo session prior to the ceremony, so they started their preparations early in the day. Nina had her hair and make up done by our friend Magda of Magda’s Designs who did a fabulous job-as usual! Nina and Evan then met with photographer Marie Papp at the Arboretum in Summit for some amazing photos among beautiful gardens. Fiore Films was also there to capture some great footage of the couple.
Friends and family joined the couple at the Father of the Groom’s home in Short Hills, which was transformed into a beautiful ceremony space complete with chuppah by the talented team from The Romantic Garden. As guests arrived they were greeted by music played by a harpist provided by Craig Scott Entertainment. It was certainly something special to see Nina and Evan married that evening. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests had a champagne toast that was given by the Father of the Groom.
Then it was off to celebrate at dinner which was held at Fiorino Ristorante in Summit. The guests dined on Northern Italian cuisine accompanied by delicious red and white wines. Fiorino’s created a custom wedding cake for the couple as well as a groom’s cake. Nina surprised Evan with the groom’s cake (that doubled as a birthday cake!) which was made with his favorite ice cream – Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino! Yum!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Nina and Evan and we wish them all the best for a happy and healthy marriage!
