This viral YouTube video might just make your future hubby jealous! A Georgia man, Matt Still, decided to get creative when proposing to his true love, Ginny Joiner. Matt hired a professional videographer to make his cinematic proposal come to life. He also enlisted the help of the local movie theater which allowed him to play the first part of the proposal on the big screen.
Matt tricked Ginny into going to the movies with her brother while he was “at work”. First, two actual movie trailers come on the screen. Then- the proposal begins!
What Ginny doesn’t know is that the movie theater is actually filled with her family and friends, and a videographer is shooting her during the whole proposal.
We give this proposal a thumbs up, but you might need to grab some tissues before watching!

With Sex and the City 2 hitting theaters this week, girls all over the globe have been anxiously waiting for their latest dose of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte!
Recently, Stephanie from the Finishing Touch team took a few of her girlfriends into New York City for a day of Sex and the City fun. They started the day off at the world famous Plaza Hotel-where they were greeted by photographer David Toth who came out to shoot some photos for Stephanie and her friends to capture some of their exciting day. David took great shots of the girls at some fabulous locations such as the Pulitzer Fountain, Central Park, and the Plaza gardens.
After their morning of photo fun, the girls went on the Sex and the City Hotspots Tour. On the guided tour, the girls got to follow in the footsteps of the "Fab Four" and shop where they shopped, drink where they drank and gossip where they gossiped! The tour included over 40 locations from the show, and as they drove by each landmark they viewed clips from the SATC scenes that took place there! The tour guide had many interesting facts about each location and about each of the cast members, from Charlotte's art gallery and Samantha's private club, to Miranda's lucky gym. She even pointed out where Carrie and Mr. Big held their engagement party.
One of the favorite stops on the tour was the Magnolia Bakery, where everyone was treated to some delicious cupcakes that Carrie and Miranda had once enjoyed on the show. The tour continued where the girls could do some shopping at stores such as Ralph Lauren, Diane Von Furstenburg and Manolo Blahnik.
Of course the day wouldn't be complete without a few cosmopolitans! One
of the last stops on the tour was at O'Neals, which was known on the
show as the bar 'Scout' that was opened by Aidan and Steve. While
heading to the last stop, the girls were treated to an exclusive sneak
peek into SATC 2. The tour ended on 42nd Street at the HBO Store where
they had everything SATC!
The tour is perfect for a girls' day out or for a unique bachelorette party in NYC. So whether you are a Carrie, a Miranda, a Charlotte or a Samantha- you will be certain to have a day that's simply fabulous!

As a husband and wife team, we have been behind the scene players in the wedding industry for quite some time. Having so many fresh ideas that we otherwise would not have had the chance to execute, we launched our own Wedding Cinematography biz…Fiore Films. We have quickly developed a reputation of having an edgy, sexy, progressive vibe, and have come to attract a very distinct clientele.
Our brides and grooms especially are very appreciative of our "outside the box" goodies…and we love them all!
We invite you to have a look at two of our favorite "Save The Dates"
While you are there, check out some of the other video clips from Fiore Films. They do some of the most unique and creative wedding cinematography we have seen. They are one of Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book event professionals and are continually featured in their blog.
Last week the ladies of The Finishing Touch took a team field trip to see the new Bride Wars movie featuring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway. In case you have not seen all the media, the premise of the movie is that a clerical error tests the lifelong friendship of two brides-to-be when their respective weddings are scheduled at the famed Plaza Hotel on the exact same date. The mistake of booking them at the same location on the same day was made by their so-called “queen of all wedding planners,” Marion St. Claire, played by Candice Bergen. So here are our thoughts on her character….we have to ask why Wedding Planners on TV and in film are always shown as either crazy divas or pretentious “sticks in the mud."As we hope you all know by now we ladies are certainly not either of these things!
The movie was certainly amusing and we enjoyed ourselves but we had to laugh at how the wedding planners were there in full force with their walkie-talkies on the day of the wedding, but we never saw Marion or her team helping the brides deal with all the planning and stress along the way. I guess what it comes down to is what you will always hear us say. There is little drama associated with our brides, as they hire us to ensure that we minimize that drama. Our desire and focus is always on making the planning process as smooth and fun as possible for our brides.
We love to see our brides look back on this time with a smile, remembering the experience as enjoyable and not stressful. Being engaged is an amazing time and we work to ensure that our brides do not become wedding-planning obsessed ~ and certainly that they do not wage all out war with their best friend! Happy planning to all you engaged brides. If you need to blow off a little steam grab your friends and stop by to see this fun movie ~ but don’t get any crazy ideas!
