Amy and Mo – This Magic Moment
Tuesday the 12th of October
“Wow!” That was the word we heard the most at Amy and Mo’s beautiful wedding on October 1st.
The ceremony was held at the Mother of the Bride’s gorgeous home in Colts Neck, NJ that featured breathtaking grounds complete with a horse farm. Due to some morning rain, the ceremony was moved inside the house where a beautifully decorated canopy was set up by Anel’s Elegant Creations. A little rain wasn’t going to stop this amazing couple! Our friends at Abella Studios were there bright and early to capture all of the fabulous details of the day. Amy looked absolutely stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown as she walked down the aisle to Nat King Cole’s “When I Fall In Love” to greet her smiling Groom. The ceremony was beautiful as they had extra special moments where they honored their parents, shared an Irish blessing, and had a sand ceremony bonding their love – which also included their daughter Autumn. It was truly an amazing moment.
After the ceremony it was time to celebrate! While guests headed to the reception, Amy and Mo along with their bridal party, made a quick stop for photos at Monmouth University where they took some fun and unique shots. After the photo session, they set off for the reception which was held at the Crystal Ballroom located at the Radisson Hotel of Freehold.
Upon arrival to the Crystal Ballroom, guests entered the Cocktail hour which featured an amazing selection of Middle Eastern fare. They had some great details during the Cocktail hour such as a remembrance table, a custom ice sculpture and in place of escort cards they had jars of homemade jelly for each guest.
Walking into the ballroom, guests were blown away by all of the decor. The bride and groom had their own private canopy which was perfectly paired with purple and red uplighting, surrounded by two lounge areas. The guest tables were decorated with beautiful centerpieces that featured pink and purple floral arrangements, lanterns and decorative candles.
Amy and Mo were out on the dance floor all night long, with Chuck from Versatile Entertainment keeping the crowd on their feet and the beat going. An Arabic band also performed every hour and was such a hit! Later in the evening, Amy and Mo surprised their guests with a traditional belly dancer who came out to dance with everyone. It was clear that everybody had an amazing time!
It was an absolute pleasure working with all of the vendors for Amy and Mo’s special day. We were so excited to work alongside Abella Studios again who captured all of the fabulous details of the day. Be sure to check out their blog on Amy and Mo’s Wedding here! Thanks also to Ozzy and Chuck at Versatile Entertainment who provided the ceremony and reception music as well as the awesome lighting.
We were so lucky to have worked with Amy and Mo – they were absolutely wonderful and are such a fun couple! We wish Amy, Mo and their daughter Autumn all the best!
With Love,
